I understand the statement sounds cliché, but let’s face it is it not something we all agree to. I agree and I mean it when I say to find yourself, you must first lose yourself…in the things you love!

When we involve ourselves in the things
we love or should I say the things that distract us from mundane stress, we
appreciate life in a strange yet beautiful way. Because for someone who loves
to paint, detaches oneself from worldly worries and list of things to do for a
while and colors something unexpected and this is when you surprise your own
self and find yourself.
For some it is travelling that makes them
forget everything that was behind them and look forward to things that may
happen. Talking personally, when I travel and I mean road travel. The sight of
looking at the roads going behind by each mile and the smell of air overwhelms
me with the thoughts that I usually don’t have. I recall memories, mistakes and
try correct them (of course when I go back) and realize what kind of person I
really am - do I like meeting new people
or am I stay alone type, what gives me peace, etc.
So keeping it short – expose yourself to
experiences that may want you to lose yourself and you appreciate yourself like
nothing before.
Keep up the self-love!
